This, my friends, is a remake of the original Phantasy Star - the one that spawned three sequels, a slew of spin-offs, and two MMORPGs. The first Phantasy Star was released in 1987 or 1988 (depending on what part of the country you live in) on the Sega Master System. It's one of the first RPGs (if not *the* RPG) to feature a female protagonist. It's also one of the first sci-fi RPG games, and the first to feature 3D dungeon crawling on a console. This is a remake for the PlayStation 2 which was only released in Japan. Fortunately, someone named Kyence has fully translated the game into English. So here I am, playing an English translation of a Japanese remake of a video game from the `80s... on PCSX2, a PlayStation 2 emulator.

 The year is 2054. Magic has returned to the world, awakening powerful creatures of myth and legend. Technology merges with flesh and consciousness. Elves, trolls, orks and dwarves walk among us, while ruthless corporations bleed the world dry. This is a futuristic cyberpunk RPG with turn-based combat and an isometric view.

This is a pretty blind run, seeing as I only played the first 10 minutes of the old Genesis Shadowrun, then set it aside because I kept getting killed. I'll be reading everything in this game, and there's quite a bit of reading to do, so if that bothers you, then I advise you not to watch.

 Here it is, my blind run through Battlefield 3's single-player campaign. I didn't do quite as bad as I thought I would, and I was able to complete the game without using any cheats. I'm actually glad I played this, since I really enjoyed the story, as well as several areas of the gameplay. Join me in embracing the fail!

Set in the Lands of Dream, Underhome and it's surrounding residents are facing foreclosure, poverty, and the loss of their freedom. In this game, you play yourself, looking through an interdimensional window of sorts, with which you can also interact with the environment. Save Underhome, and save Isles of the Sun, Moon, and Stars. You'll find these... beings... to be more than worth the effort.

NOTE: This game is very verbose, and I read everything. There will be links to skip lengthy sections of book titles, mushroom descriptions, and so on. This will cut a bunch of time out of many of these episodes.

This game is just so wrong. You play as the "Postal Dude," who has to do mundane things like get milk and return overdue library books. The only thing is this town is full of people who love to shoot, maim, and kill each other... and you! You can play as passively or as violently as you want. Me? I played a bit violently. Just a bit.

As sick as Postal 2 is, this expansion is even sicker. Unfortunately, it's nowhere near as good as the main game. The open world/sandbox element is gone, leaving a linear game that is devoid of options, and full of multitudes of lookalike enemies. I do have some fun with it, though... at least on Saturday. As far as Sunday, the second half of the game, well, let's just say that I want to kick the developer's ass for putting me through this drudgery.
