Yes, another Star Trek FMV (full motion video) game! Centered around the Klingons, there are a total of two human characters in this one. Our goal is to try to avenge the death of someone very close to us (or rather, close to the holodeck character that we we are playing in this game), without pissing off Gowron off too much. Well, we fail at one of those things. Quite often, in fact.

Being a fan of Star Trek: The Next Generation, I really enjoyed this short FMV (full motion video) game. It's like playing through a Star Trek episode! Well, minus all the familiar characters. John de Lancie is here though! I played this on Virtualbox, emulating Windows 95, since this game will not run on modern systems. There is a patch to get it running on Windows 98, but for some reason, I had to use it just to get the game to run. My apologies for the scanlines or whatever these are. It looks like I played it from a VHS tape, ha ha!

These are eight adventures that serve as prequels, or backstories, to the most excellent RPG: Phantasy Star II. Each game features one character, which you will also meet in Phantasy Star II. These games were released only in Japan, but I am playing the wonderful fan translations by M.I.J.E.T. Originally, these could only be downloaded via an optional modem that could be connected to the Sega Mega Drive (aka Sega Genesis). They were re-released on a couple disks for the Sega CD, along with other games. I really enjoyed these adventures.

Released only in Japan, this is a fan translation of the Game Gear rarity. I played this on the Kega Fusion emulator. It's a short adventure game with some RPG-themed combat.You receive a letter from a scientist friend of yours, Ken Miller, who wants you to check out the machine he made. He soon is abducted, and it's up to you to save him, using top quality items like branches and soft drinks. A short but sweet adventure.

This, my friends, is a remake of the original Phantasy Star - the one that spawned three sequels, a slew of spin-offs, and two MMORPGs. The first Phantasy Star was released in 1987 or 1988 (depending on what part of the country you live in) on the Sega Master System. It's one of the first RPGs (if not *the* RPG) to feature a female protagonist. It's also one of the first sci-fi RPG games, and the first to feature 3D dungeon crawling on a console. This is a remake for the PlayStation 2 which was only released in Japan. Fortunately, someone named Kyence has fully translated the game into English. So here I am, playing an English translation of a Japanese remake of a video game from the `80s... on PCSX2, a PlayStation 2 emulator.

 The year is 2054. Magic has returned to the world, awakening powerful creatures of myth and legend. Technology merges with flesh and consciousness. Elves, trolls, orks and dwarves walk among us, while ruthless corporations bleed the world dry. This is a futuristic cyberpunk RPG with turn-based combat and an isometric view.

This is a pretty blind run, seeing as I only played the first 10 minutes of the old Genesis Shadowrun, then set it aside because I kept getting killed. I'll be reading everything in this game, and there's quite a bit of reading to do, so if that bothers you, then I advise you not to watch.

 Here it is, my blind run through Battlefield 3's single-player campaign. I didn't do quite as bad as I thought I would, and I was able to complete the game without using any cheats. I'm actually glad I played this, since I really enjoyed the story, as well as several areas of the gameplay. Join me in embracing the fail!

Set in the Lands of Dream, Underhome and it's surrounding residents are facing foreclosure, poverty, and the loss of their freedom. In this game, you play yourself, looking through an interdimensional window of sorts, with which you can also interact with the environment. Save Underhome, and save Isles of the Sun, Moon, and Stars. You'll find these... beings... to be more than worth the effort.

NOTE: This game is very verbose, and I read everything. There will be links to skip lengthy sections of book titles, mushroom descriptions, and so on. This will cut a bunch of time out of many of these episodes.

This game is just so wrong. You play as the "Postal Dude," who has to do mundane things like get milk and return overdue library books. The only thing is this town is full of people who love to shoot, maim, and kill each other... and you! You can play as passively or as violently as you want. Me? I played a bit violently. Just a bit.

Apocalypse Weekend (expansion)

As sick as Postal 2 is, this expansion is even sicker. Unfortunately, it's nowhere near as good as the main game. The open world/sandbox element is gone, leaving a linear game that is devoid of options, and full of multitudes of lookalike enemies. I do have some fun with it, though... at least on Saturday. As far as Sunday, the second half of the game, well, let's just say that I want to kick the developer's ass for putting me through this drudgery.

This is a dungeon crawling role playing game with an oldschool heart but a modern execution. It brings back the oldschool challenge with highly tactical real-time combat and grid-based movement, devious hidden switches and secrets, as well as deadly traps and horrible monsters. It's the classic gameplay of Dungeon Master and Eye of the Beholder (among others), with today's graphics and multimedia capabilities. I'll say this right now: I am having a blast, and I love this game! Just try to watch your ears during a few surprise incidents during this Let's Play, especially if you're wearing headphones. Dungeon crawling has never been more fun.

It's the sequel to Dungeon Master! So you thought Dungeon Master was hard? Tag along as I tackle one of the most complicated, convoluted dungeons ever designed. Our quest is to find the four corbums (eh?) that sucked the mana from the Grey Lord, causing Lord Chaos to split off from him again. Lost yet? We'll just battle our way through four paths: Ku (warrior), Neta (priest), Ros (ninja), and Dain (wizard), finding a corbum at the end of each one. Once all the corbums are collected, we just throw them into the Fulya Pit (huh?), and we'll save the day. Simple, huh? Ha! Ha ha ha ha! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

P.S. -  The first ten videos were recorded in March/April of 2012, and only the first five were uploaded at that time. I was unable to get past an event in episode 11 due to the fact that I only had a rudimentary graphics card. Now that I can use Fraps, I can play the game in fullscreen, and get past the event (grabbing the first Corbum from the niche at the end of end of the "Ku" level). So... Episode 11 begins all new recordings in January of 2013, starting from where I left off.
